Lunagirl African American Images Collection EXPANDED

NOW OVER 400 IMAGES!

I'm proud to offer the collection of African American images I've created, because such images can be difficult to find. I haven't seen another collection like it, and it has been popular.

So, I'm excited to announce that I have been able to EXPAND the collection ... from 150 images to over 400. The new images are all vintage photos, mostly portraits. Some are cabinet cards, some are in frames, others are more like snapshots. Some are street scenes, a few are family portraits or baby pictures. New sample pics added to the listing (second half of samples).

Significantly enlarged folder of men and boys (98 new images), 138 new pictures of women and girls, and 18 photos of couples and families!

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE MY AFRICAN-AMERICAN IMAGES SET: Note that while I have added over 200 additional images, I have not increased the price. You can still download it for $9.95 (all my collections are download only now).

New Collage Sheet: Corsets

I've collected images of Victorian corsets from antique catalogs, vintage ads, and other ephemera and clipart, and created this new digital collage sheet. I'm sure glad that these "undergarments" aren't expected anymore... I'm not sure I would have been willing to wear one! Of course, I won't even wear high heels. Shiny new website design... and Happy Memorial Day

My project this week has been to update and revamp my website, to make Lunagirl.com more streamlined and as user-friendly as I can. I'm liking the results ~ looking good with larger images, and much easier to browse.

I now have a list of all collage sheet categories that stays on the left sidebar while you're browsing ~ a big help, because there are SO many!

Featuring some new collage sheets, as well as Independence Day/Patriotic collage sheets, Summertime, and hundreds of images in the theme Flowers Nature and Woodland.

Bellydance Moo by Michele

Here is a little "happy" from Michele Storms -- a lovely little "moo" featuring a dancer from my Lunagirl digital collage sheet called Bellydance 3. I like the black-and-white background, especially the music notes, appropriate for a dancer!

This is actually Mata Hari -- an image from an antique French postcard, which I tinted with some bright colors. Love the red and how Michele has played with bright shades on B&W.

New! Vintage Hot Air Balloons

I've been meaning to get some of these antique hot air balloon images ready for a collage sheet for ages now... finally worked on them today. Aren't they fun? I love these, very steampunk. Artful Gathering 2017 Begins May 1

Just a friendly reminder that registration for Artful Gathering 2017 opens on May 1! If you're already registered, you will already have access to all Artful Gathering activities and tutorials for the whole summer. If you haven't registered yet, check it out!

Birds and Nests Challenge at Tag Tuesday

I want to give another little reminder / nudge to check out the current challenge over at Tag Tuesday ~ the theme being BIRDS & NESTS.

Always a favorite theme for me! And so perfect this time of year ~ whether your birds are twitter-pating and nesting yet, or you are still waiting for the snow and ice to melt, it is officially Spring (in the Northern hemisphere at least!)

And isn't this a wonderful reason (as if I needed one) to share this uniquely fabulous and creative tag by Michele Storms? Dodo stamp by madrat rubber (the dodo bird illustration from Alice in Wonderland!) collaged with eggs and nests by Lunagirl and other lovely vintage elements. Love the background paper...and that moth in such a soft pale green...
