Joyeux Noel: New Digital Collage Sheets
Here is the last post of new digital collage sheets with vintage European Christmas cards. These are more French holiday postcards... Beautiful angels, some nativity scenes, Christmas children, and of course Santa Claus! The last sheet here is created with antique photo postcards ~ a little girl and a little angel with their vintage Christmas trees, playful children to wish you joyful NOEL, and even a romantic couple in Victorian / Edwardian dress.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed creating them! And I hope you'll go see these and all of my Christmas / Winter / and New Year images and digital collage sheets at Lunagirl.com.

Holiday Children Challenge....There's Still Time!
![]() |
| by VICKI ROMAINE |
The challenge is open until noon CST tomorrow, so you still have time to link up your creation for a chance to win and a chance to share your work!
Here is one more piece from Vicki Romaine of the Design Team, to inspire you. And what could be more lovely than this beautiful, nostalgic image of a little girl and her puppy looking in with amazement at the Christmas tree. Do you think it's Christmas morning, and she is looking at all the presents under the tree, or is it Christmas eve and she is just gazing with wonder at the beautiful tree lit with candles? I prefer to think the latter... the Night BEFORE Christmas is my favorite holiday.
Vicki has placed the image and sentiment, from my Christmas Joy tags collage sheet, on a pretty vintage style background and added the perfect touch of lace and "wish" embellishment. If you can't quite read the sentiment, it says "May you always see Christmas through the eyes of child." My wish for you tonight! We got our tree today and hung wreaths on the doors, so I guess the season is underway at our house.

Blog Challenge Theme: Holiday Children
It's that time of year again -- time for gratitude and joy, food and family, tradition and celebration, thankfulness and hope. Autumn leaves, holly berries and mistletoe, turkey and pumpkin pie (and pecan pies at my house!) and then later cookies and candies, gingerbread and peppermint, the smell of cinnamon and evergreens... yes, I love this time of year!
For many people, one of the best things about Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hanukkah are our memories of childhood celebrations and the fun of seeing our own children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, enjoy the magic of this season. It's wonderful to see the holiday season through the eyes of a child. So let's have fun creating with images of Holiday Children.
There are so many wonderful vintage images of girls and boys. We have hundreds in our collection of Victorian and Edwardian era holiday postcards -- for Christmas and New Years on Victorian Holidays One and for Thanksgiving (and Halloween too!) on Victorian Holidays Volume Three. I've used a few on some charming digital collage sheets for holidays. The Lunagirl Moonbeams Design Team feature some of them below.
Here are the guidelines for this challenge:
Any craft or medium is OK.
Limit of 3 entries from one person in each challenge, please.
Vintage style is encouraged.
Use a Lunagirl image or element and your entry will count twice in the drawing!
Remember to link to this blog and to Lunagirl.com on your site if you have one.
Prize: Winner will be selected randomly to receive a $15 credit at Lunagirl.com!
Challenge ends at noon CST on December 7.
I love it when you use Lunagirl images, and I hope you'll go take a look at my collections... but that's not a requirement! But do remember that if you use a Lunagirl image, you will be entered TWICE in the drawing! I welcome everyone and every style but also want to give a little something extra to my wonderful customers! Most important is have fun, get creative, enjoy vintage.

VICKI ROMAINE created these two cards with a straw background ... the first one, which is a "gate" card with the image attached to the left side of the gate, is for our Holiday Children theme. But I've included the second one (a stand-up card) to show how she created two entirely different-looking cards with the same supplies! (The vintage images are from Lunagirl Thanksgiving digital collage sheet.)

To get you started, here is an adorable little guy on a bookmark created by Michele Storms, perfect for our boys-themed challenge and also for Back-to-School Time!
Michele writes:
as the mom of one child, a son, i love being challenged to deliver up some good things featuring boys. i made a bookmark on the "back to school" theme since that time is right around the corner. i used an image from your african american CD and the rainbow butterflies sheet (because boys can take flight too of course -- and truly learning gives you wings!) the rest is stuff from my stash.
Here he is again on a tag by Vicki Romaine! I love the vintage style of this one, with the sepia and copper colors.
Vicki writes:
My tag has a page from an old paperback book as a background base. The Lunagirl image was placed under wrapped vintage twine. Down the left side is a piece of shinny cooper-looking cardstock cut from an old Christmas card. At the top is a medallion piece that had been smashed in a coin-smashing machine

More New Collage Sheets: Victorian Ladies & Children
Here are a couple more new digital collage sheets. These feature beautiful, colorful Victorian style die-cut images of women and children. The ladies are wearing some very elegant vintage fashions, including fancy hats and fans. The girls and boys are so sweet, in old-fashioned clothing, some with flowers. I've also included some little bundles and baskets of flowers (also antique die-cuts) because if I have extra space I like to include a little extra something! You can always see my newest releases at Lunagirl.com.
