ANYTHING GOES... Join my August challenge!

I've never done an Anything Goes challenge before (surprisingly!) and I'm really enjoying all the variety in the entries and the DT creations. Check it out, and join in!

Here is more inspiration from the DT... These are all rather serene, don't you think? They suit my mood well today, on this lazy late summer day. The day is hot but the light is slanted in that August way, and the summer locusts are in full chorus, so I know autumn is quietly moving closer.

The sweetest little witch...

I love love love this little ATC created by Michele Storms! This little witch girl with her red hat and black cat is one of my favorite Victorian Halloween images, and Michele has added just the perfect wings and tiny black flower, against a red and black background and big friendly vintage harvest moon. 

This trio (witch, cat & moon!) are here to remind you that All Hallow's Eve is very near... and that means you have just a few more days to show us your Gothic/Halloween-themed cards and creations in my challenge ~ enter for your chance to win $15 credit at Lunagirl.com. It is October and that means Halloween is on its way and things will start to get spooky... Mandy Chilvers created this spooky bird ATC for our Put A Bird On It challenge which continues this week!

Fairyland Altered Playing Cards by Vicki Romaine

Vicki Romaine has been working on these magical playing cards, perfect inspiration for our Fairyland challenge!  These are the backsides of her altered playing cards. The background is Heidi Swapp color spray, stenciled designs, and in the foreground are Lunagirl fairy images. A full deck is going to be amazing!

New Collage Sheets ~ Patterned Backgrounds in Pretty Color Themes

 I've been busily creating new collage sheets the past few weeks, but haven't gotten them all posted to the blog.

Here are a couple of sheets featuring patterned backgrounds in a size perfect for ATCs and cards, or tags, or frames for pictures in scrapbooks.

I've also been scanning antique Tarot cards, in bright colors and also in sepia, so if you like those I'll have them posted soon. 

The other thing I've been working on, by request, is more mid-century images ~ 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, retro housewives, etc. ... so stay tuned for that on the blog next week, or go ahead and see my new stuff on the website!

We met Anitra through etsy and just had to share a link to her adorable HANDMADE teddy bears. They are wonderful.
