New Digital Download: Vintage Photos of Sisters, Victorian Girls & Friends
The "All For the Girls" challenge at DigitallySweetChallenges inspired me to create TWO new digital collage sheets using vintage photos, available at Lunagirl.com. Called "Just Us Girls" (shown here) and Just Us Girls #2, these feature altered postcards and photographs of Victorian Edwardian women and children who are sisters, friends, companions. Little girls in party dresses, friends old and young, even some fabulous ladies in Halloween costumes (my favorite).
Sweet and fun, and perfect for the DSC challenge! They would also be perfect vintage printables for birthday cards, greeting cards, altered art projects, scrapbooking layouts, etc.
Hope you enjoy! Stay tuned for my new bellydancer/diva tag sheets....

New Digital Collage Full of Fairies!
I thought this one turned out really pretty! I call it "In the Fairy Garden." Here in the fairy garden you'll find Victorian flower fairies, of course, and little garden angels, little girls with painted wings and flowers in their hair, a little garden gnome carrying a bouquet... and a girl in blue peeks around the fence to see what is going on. I've included a gorgeous vintage floral frame, and inside that a picture of children, fairies, and robins having a tea party in a bird's nest! I had lots of fun with this one, and I hope you will too. Visit Lunagirl's fairy and angel garden.

More New Collage Sheets: Victorian Ladies & Children
Here are a couple more new digital collage sheets. These feature beautiful, colorful Victorian style die-cut images of women and children. The ladies are wearing some very elegant vintage fashions, including fancy hats and fans. The girls and boys are so sweet, in old-fashioned clothing, some with flowers. I've also included some little bundles and baskets of flowers (also antique die-cuts) because if I have extra space I like to include a little extra something! You can always see my newest releases at Lunagirl.com.

Go! Steampunk Tag by Michele
Hello all! The theme over at Tag Tuesday is "Maps Charts & Diagrams," and Michele Storms of my DT shared this fab steampunk-style tag she created for it. Her tag uses some images from my Steampunk Girls collage sheet. My husband and I have been planning our family vacation for this summer, and this tag is just adding to my restlessness! I'm ready to take off and go!

Freebie: Victorian Children's Tea Party
Here is something sweet for my Victorian tea party challenge!
These little girls and their little brother (that's my guess) are having a tea party among the roses. Miss kitty cat has a saucer of cream, and the puppy dog is hoping for a cookie!
Looks like a fun afternoon, and I hope you'll have fun using this picture. Click on the image to get the full size, save to your computer, and resize as needed.
Have a happy day!

I have a secret...... by Vicki
One more "Secrets" piece from the DT!
Vicki Romaine:
"Here is a card filled with texture. There is a silky sheen piece of cardstock on one side of the background while on the other side is a piece of Panera's coffee cup protector cut down. The flower is a newspaper flower which is a little crumpled by the scanner."
Thanks to Vicki!

Lunagirl Moonbeams Design Team:
VICKI ROMAINE:
"I really enjoyed making this steampunk card. I put a little bit of everything on it. Look closely you will see 6 images from Lunagirl and a piece of a background image, some burlap, a piece of rope, and of course a bling embellishment. I had that piece of background paper on my desk from a previous project-now it is gone, a scrap of rope was there too-now it is gone. The burlap is half of a piece I had on my table. This is the way to clean your craft room! I wish."
MICHELE STORMS:
"i used the steampunk girls sheet, the carte postale (i'm getting a lot of use out of that sheet!) and fly away home (yeah, i'm finding myself using that a lot also!). i also used some fun vintage advertising paper i already had along with tissue tape, a clock sticker and a brad to enhance the steampunk feel. love this challenge theme!"

Bathing Beauty Cards & Tag by Vicki Romaine

The ever-fabulous and creative Vicki Romaine of the Lunagirl Moonbeams Design Team has shared three more bathing beauty projects! How she finds time during what I know is a busy week, I don't know, but aren't these lovely? Visit Vicki's blog and join her challenges as well!
I have always been very fond of this image. Here's what Vicki says about her piece and process:
"Background was ... where I cleaned my brayer on another book page. The background and image were both printed on grey cardstock so the colors would be a little distressed. The image was again torn, but no distressing was done as the tearing around the image showed the grey cardstock. Three blue stones complete the tag."
Woman image from Lunagirl Bathing Beauties 2 collage sheet.
Joyful card with a bathing beauty and charming little fish!
"The background was made by cleaning my brayer on a page from a paperback book. The image was torn and distress with light cranberry ink. The fish are stick on embellishments and finally a sentiment on acrylic."
Women's images on this card and the next from Lunagirl Bathing Beauties #4 digital collage sheet.
I think this is my favorite. I like the simplicity, and the colors, and the fence... and that outfit! Most of all I really like the great quote!
Vicki's comment:
"A very plain card. Quote is from Quote Garden on the net."
It's lovely ... and my thought for the day!
