In case you need a reminder, St. Nick is here to remind you that Christmas is on the 25th... just ten days!

This pretty distressed Santa card is from Vicki Romaine of the Moonbeams Design Team:

"I made a distressed card with my choice of designer paper and inking the edges of this lovely Santa.  The background actually has three papers.  Down the right side are three token squares and at the bottom I used a Spellbinders diecut  on which to place the date." ~ Vicki

You still have time to CELEBRATE ST. NICK by linking up your work in my blog challenge! Come see all the entries so far, and don't miss your chance to join in the fun for a chance to win $15 store credit at Lunagirl.com!

The challenge continues until Sunday noon CST. Need St. Nick pictures or other Christmas and Winter images? Find hundreds at Lunagirl. Many are ready to download instantly!

Hoooot -- Little Owl Card by Michele for the Bird challenge

Michele Storms of the Moonbeams DT has been busy creating an altered card deck -- check out her gorgeous work so far -- and this one is perfect for our ongoing Put A Bird On It challenge theme. And also perfect for the Fall weather we're finally having where I am! Lovely texture she has on this card, and isn't that little Victorian Lunagirl owl wonderful, enjoying the autumn leaves.
He wants to remind you to put a bird on something and enter my challenge this week!

Vintage Postcards Ephemera Downloads NEW!

I've been busy creating digital collage sheets with vintage postcards and French carte postale scans, because I think the backs of the postcards in my collection are often just as pretty as the fronts!

In the past I've offered some of the cards with antique handwriting, in English and French, and I wanted to do a collection of the blank cards because they are perfect for so many projects.  And they are lots of fun for me to work with as well!

This is the first set, which I have kept very simple.  The top card is very unusual, with an nature scene illustration and art deco type design.  Then there is a French card and a one in English.  I've offered all three cards in a large and small size, plus a little bonus of just the pretty "post card" titles.

Just for fun, I also did this set in several colors!
Pink, Indigo Blue, Lilac Purple, Soft Peach, and Spring Green.  Check them all out, and watch for more vintage postcard collage sheets coming very soon....

Gypsy Bellydancer Card

There's still time to get in on the Vintage Bellydance blog challenge!

Here is another beautiful card from Design Team member Vicki Romaine:

"The Lunagirl gypsy bellydancer image is placed on a split card and the designer paper is accented with a woven thread with pearls trim.  Also, I used a grouping of paper flowers with stones in the center as an additional embellishment."

I love all the different ways our artists have used this favorite image.

Garden Fairies are Popping Up Everywhere!

Both by Vicki Romaine of the Cheerful Stamppad.

Here is a charming 1929 Girl fairy with bright wings and a gorgeous frame and embellishments.
Vicki writes:
"I love using black and white as a background.  This time my fairy stands inside a Cheery Lynn die."

"Here is a tag using a  technique from Use Your Words workshop by Carolyn Dube.  The technique consisted  of putting letters in the background and then glazing with polymer medium gloss.  In addition I added a fairy from one of Lunagirl's collage sheets and then glazed her also."
