Artful Gathering Online Art Retreat 2018: Share the Spirit

Workshop registration is now OPEN for Artful Gathering's 8th annual online summer art retreat! This year's theme is everything Southwestern/Western/Cowboy/Cowgirls/NativeAmerican. So many amazing workshops ~ from painting and journals to jewelry and ceramics and doll-making and textiles/fabric arts ~ it's fun just to browse the workshops. So much beauty and inspiration.... You can sign up for workshops and also enjoy a video hop, prizes, tutorials, chatting... Session One workshops begin June 6!

To celebrate the grand opening day for Artful Gathering 2018, registered attendees will receive access to a three-part video tutorial "Western Girl Leather Bracelets" ~ how to create leather bracelets using mixed media and free style painting :-)

Celebrate in February

February means Valentine's Day AND African-American history month... So isn't this perfect?

Michele Storms is a very inspired and very busy lady... She has kindly shared these new creations using images from the newly expanded collection of African-American images from Lunagirl.

I love the combination of silver snowflake and silver heart doily she used... and of course the lovely vintage Paris image.

The one below is a digital piece called "Old Fashioned Girl." It reminds me of old letters and the sweet sadness of time passing.
