Still more new Lunagirl collage sheets to show off on the blog and keep you all updated on new stuff!


Above are two new sheets of "domino" sized images, at 1x2 inches. These can also be trimmed down for bamboo tiles and 1" charms! A fabulous mix of lovely ladies!

I've also created THREE new sheets featuring 1x3 images, which are perfect for microscope slide pendants but can also be clipped to size for 1" pendants and charms and used in other altered art projects.

These were fun to create, and as you see each offers a wonderful mix of ephemera: photos of ladies and children, antique prints of flowers, old love letters and ledgers and sheet music, pre-raphaelite art and medieval engravings. What Fun: Retro Children's Illustrations

This one is great: created with children's illustrations from 1930s postcards and children's book illustrations.

It is fun to offer these charming boys and girls for your projects after they've been living in a shoebox for decades!

Great Saturday Project: Easter Eggs with All Natural Dyes!

Did you know you can make natural egg dyes from stuff around your kitchen? I looked around for tips on dyeing Easter eggs with natural dyes and picked a few of the best links to share! This is a great "old-fashioned" way to dye eggs, but also a "new-fashioned" way to avoid artificial dyes and over-commercialization of holiday celebrations. It's a fun experiment and a fun way to spend some time with your kids!

The earliest traditional colors for Easter eggs were red and green, btw. Red is the most ancient sacred color, the color of life energy. Green of course is also symbolic of life and vitality and renewal. Pastel colors became popular later, probably in imitation of the pinks and yellows and lavenders of Spring flowers. Supposedly teal is the "hot" color this year!!
