This time, Lunagirl is sharing this challenge theme with Vicki Romaine's challenge blog, cheerfulstamppad.blogspot.com! Our Design Teams will be guest designers for each other's blogs... and you can link up your creation on BOTH sites for double chances to win!
I love the black and white theme ~ It is amazing how much you can do with black and white, as you'll see from all the DT and Guest DT creations. I love color, but something about black and white is so elegant and compelling ~ like how in black and white movies you notice the faces and lines and lights and shadows so much more. Thanks to Vicki for suggesting this inspiring theme!
Here is a collection in black and white by Lunagirl, including the digital collage sheets used by the Design Team. You can browse hundreds of collage sheets at Lunagirl.
CHALLENGE GUIDELINES:
I love it when you use Lunagirl images, and I hope you'll go take a look at my collections... but that's not a requirement! But do remember that if you use a Lunagirl image, you will be entered TWICE in the drawing! I welcome everyone and every style but also want to give a little something extra to my wonderful customers! Most important is have fun, get creative, and enjoy vintage style.
DESIGN TEAM INSPIRATION
A special THANK YOU to Design Team members from Cheerful Stamp Pad for their beautiful and inspiring work! And as always, thanks to the fabulous Moonbeams DT ~ Isn't it wonderful to have so much inspiration to enjoy for this challenge?

HAZEL HARRIS My Crafty Outlook : I used one of the images from Lunagirl's civil war ladies-gents, kindly supplied by Lunagirl as sponsor of the challenge, printed out and matted on to black card with some lace at the side. The background paper is some that I got some time ago from PDA card and craft, flowers from Hobbycraft. |
BARBARA GODDEN Barb's Creative Corner : Week 1 of the Black & White challenge with Luna Girl I chose the Flower Line Art page, I loved the floral images and they were perfect for me to try out a Folded Screen card. I used the Fleur Dis lis border punch for the top of the screen and picked different patterned papers to go along with the flowers. I die cut butterflies out of a scrap of shiny white, buttons and dewdrops from my stash. More pictures on my blog. |

And special appreciation to VICKI ROMAINE, owner of Cheerful Stamp Pad , for suggesting this theme and inviting me to do a shared challenge theme! I am excited that Karen of Lunagirl and I are combining challenges. Just think you can now enter both challenges with the same entry....a 2 for 1! The theme "Black and White" is one of my favorites. I got going a little wild with my card this week. I have a very busy designer paper which I have tried to calm down with some paper lace made with a Martha Stewart punch. The beautiful dogwood is of course from Lunagirl and it is on a black center mat. |
