Check out the Mothers & Sisters challenge. We need many more entries! And enjoy this inspiration from the Design Team:

I recently created a new Fortune Teller / Vintage Gypsy digital collage sheet (finally got it listed on the website here, and it's in the etsy shop)...

Mandy Chilvers (of the Design Team) has created this great piece using one of the gypsy ladies, and I wanted to share it!

Mandy also sent me a beautiful piece for the May challenge... the theme is Mothers and Sisters... so stay tuned for this and more inspiration from the Design Team, to get you started on this month's challenge theme!

Sponsoring at Dreaming in Darkness

I sponsoring over at Dreaming in Darkness for the first time this month, and thought I would share a link with everyone! A very cool "alternative" challenge blog, something a little different. Here is their description:

This is an Alternative Challenge Blog, a place to share your darker, creepy odd, weird and alternative creative makes!... Bring us your projects using Digital, hybrid, mixed media, whatever makes your heart sing. The only thing we don't want to see is cute.  The theme is always

Anything Creepy, Dark or Weird Goes, except cute.

If this strikes your fancy or piques your interest, go check it out. The Design Team samples for the challenge are amazing, and I'm sure it will be a fun challenge.

May Challenge Theme: Mothers and Sisters

May 1st means time for a new challenge theme. All this month link up your creations on the theme of MOTHERS AND SISTERS! For June, we'll honor fathers and brothers, but this month is all about the ladies in our lives (so some daughters and love-ya-like-a-sister friends may show up too!)

Challenge Winner for April: Amanda of purplemyrtlemakes

Time to consult the magic random number generator to tell me the lucky winner of this month's challenge...
The random number genie gives me the number 8, which is this fabulous entry by Amanda over at purplemyrtlemakes blog!

This is especially cool for me because my maternal grandmother was born in Stephenville, Texas, the place listed on her rodeo image! I love those vintage buttons, too.

Congratulations to EVERYONE who entered this challenge. I appreciate it. It's always so much fun to see everyone's creations.

Tomorrow is the first day of May (believe it or not), which means a new challenge theme. Join us in May with your creations inspired by the theme MOTHERS AND SISTERS. Merry Beltane and Happy May!

One last cowgirl from the Design Team...

VICKI ROMAINE Cheerful Stamp Pad

One last cowgirl comes galloping in, almost too late for the round-up! You still have time to get your cowgirls and cowboys (and horses) in before the gate closes ~

See the challenge here, enjoy the fabulous entries and Design Team inspiration, get crackin' on your own creations and then link them up to share!

You have four more days, you can enter three creations, and one of them might win the prize! I'll do a random drawing on Saturday after the challenge closes, and the lucky winner will receive $15 credit to spend at Lunagirl.com.

Thanks to Vicki Romaine for this gelli tag featuring a rodeo gal! >>
