In celebration of the Feast of the Epiphany, traditionally celebrated on January 6 (or the preceding Sunday), here is a lovely pre-Raphaelite painting by Burne-Jones showing the adoration of the magi. In many countries Christmas greenery is taken down on January 6 which is the Twelfth Day of Christmas. We always took our Christmas tree down at Epiphany. The Three Magi and Twelfth Night
